WHAT IS IT?

SALVIA OFFICINALIS (S. Hortensis) is also known as Provence tea, Greek tea or sacred herb.

The part used is the leaf. It contains flavonoids, triterpenes, abietane-type diterpenes and phenolic acids.

WHY AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

All these components enable sage to have 3 main virtues: antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and astringent.

It helps regulate bronchial infections and inflammation, and reduces coughing.

Febrifuge: helps reduce fever.

Not recommended for pregnant mares.
