ESC LABORATORY Marine Collagen
A constituent of bones, joints, cartilage, connective tissue and blood vessels, they represent 30% to 35% of the body's total proteins. Collagen protects and maintains the flexibility of joints. It thus contributes to the vitality and well-being of the horse, ensuring daily joint comfort. It acts in a preventive way on horses under 3 years old. Indeed, as the animal ages, the production of collagen by the body decreases. Its mobility can then be limited and cause joint problems or pain.
Marine collagen hydrolysate can be given as a supplement to the basic ration and helps support the joints. It is beneficial for foals with rapidly growing joints up to 3 years old. It is also recommended for horses with a sustained sporting activity as well as for older horses in order to limit the risk of weakening and degeneration of the joints.
