Hilton Herbs Aloé Vera 1 liter: skin and digestive support

Hilton Herbs aloe vera for pets can be given orally or applied to the skin. Aloe vera extract is traditionally used in herbal medicine for its beneficial action on digestion and healing.

External use:

Liquid aloe vera is an excellent base for creating baths, gels and sprays, simply by adding plant tinctures or essential oils.

Aloe vera soothes superficial wounds: scratches, small cuts, stings, symptoms of dermatitis, etc

Internal use:

Aloe vera juice is often recommended for digestive disorders

Often used in phytotherapy to support horses suffering from gastric ulcers.

Aloe vera extract is liquid and can be applied to the skin or ingested. Note that this liquid is twice as concentrated as aloe vera leaf juice. For more information, go to the Ingredients tab.

Which ingredients?

2:1 aloe vera extract. Aloe vera leaves are cut and washed to remove the aloin. They are then crushed and the pulp and fibers removed. After rapid pasteurization, the ale vera juice is concentrated by reverse osmosis. This produces 10:1 aloe vera extract (10 volumes of fresh plant = 1 volume of extract), and finally, the pH is adjusted. A dilution achieves 2:1, i.e. an extract twice as concentrated as fresh aloe vera juice (2 volumes of fresh plants = 1 volume of extract).

How do I use it?

You can add aloe vera to the daily ration, or give it twice whenever possible. Recommendations: Horses and ponies: as advised by your vet, 50 to 120 ml per day. Dogs: up to 25 kg, 2.5 to 5 ml per day. Over 25 kg, 5 ml per day, increasing to 10 ml. Cats (average weight 4 kg): 10 to 15 drops twice a day (1 ml=20 drops).
