High-performance and elegant, the EQUITHÈME Wings lamé helmet features MIPS* technology for optimum safety in the event of a fall from the saddle.

Adjustable, ventilated and resistant, this riding helmet features a removable, washable inner padding for easy care.

MIPS technology is a patented system, the result of almost 20 years of study and research, developed to improve brain protection.

The main aim of the MIPS system is to reduce the risk of traumatic brain injury in the event of oblique or rotating impacts by including an additional layer inside the helmet, between the outer shell and the inner lining.

This layer is designed to allow relative movement between the rider's head and the helmet itself in the event of an oblique impact.

The MIPS system absorbs impact energy by sliding the skull along the skullcap, mimicking the role of the cerebrospinal fluid in which our brain "floats".

This helps dissipate rotational forces and prevents the brain from banging against the skull, thus minimizing the risk of brain damage.

a lightweight, high-density EPS (expanded polystyrene) shell with excellent shock-absorbing properties.

a ventilation system integrated into the front of the helmet, with hundreds of inlaid semi-circles on the surface of the shell not only improving shock absorption, but also allowing excellent air circulation, combined with front, rear and central ventilation zones.
