Designed to provide effective protection for your horse's hoof, the Hipposandale Norton is ideal for unshod horses, in the event of shoe loss or after an abscess, bleed or seime.

Made from rubber and polypropylene, this hipposandal effectively protects the wall, frog and sole against shocks, rough terrain and hard ground.

Equipped with a sturdy sole, the Hipposandale Norton is easy to put on thanks to its quick-fastening system with a sturdy nylon strap ensuring a good fit without damaging the hoof wall.

Its enveloping and slightly rising shape limits the ejection and intrusion of sand or small stones inside the Hipposandale Norton.

Tear-resistant and anatomically shaped, perfectly adapted to glomes, it offers great comfort and optimum protection.

Practical and reusable, the Hipposandale Norton can be removed and cleaned after each use for optimum durability.

Sold individually, it is recommended to use them in pairs on unshod horses or after a hoof injury (bleime, seime or abscess).

Instructions for use

Slide the nylon strap wide open.

The Hipposandale Norton fits over the foot like a bell, starting with the clamp.

Tighten the strap to prevent rubbing and loss of the hipposandal.

A well-fitting hipposandal considerably reduces the risk of rubbing. If it's too loose, it may not only turn or come off, but also cause irritation.

Before prolonged use, it is essential to observe a running-in phase and, if necessary, to apply talcum powder for the first few uses (no greasy products that could make the hipposandal slippery).
