Its formula contains magnesium compounds that are easily assimilated by horses. The pellets are easy to administer, either mixed with concentrated feed or dissolved in water. This supplement is ideal for horses that perform well despite heavy perspiration, and for rapid recovery from diarrhea. In hot weather, or during intense exertion such as intensive training, horses can lose over 30 liters of sweat. Like diarrhea, this process leads to a significant loss of electrolytes. Electrolytes are involved in all cellular functions, regulate water balance and blood pH, and are essential for the proper functioning of nerves and muscles. A significant loss of electrolytes can therefore lead to a sudden drop in performance if they are not rapidly replenished.
