WHAT IS IT?

Our formulation contains mainly biotin, zinc and horsetail.

Biotin (3a880) is a group B vitamin.

WHY AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

Biotin plays a fundamental role in cell growth. It is involved in the synthesis of keratin (a vitamin that contributes to the structure of horn, hair and manes) via amino acids.

Biotin is not stored in the body, requiring a daily intake of around 20 mg per course.

Zinc (3b607) glycine zinc chelate hydrate is a mineral that helps the horse's body to increase biotin assimilation.

Most of horsetail's medicinal virtues are due to its high silica content (salicylic acid), a substance involved in the formation of connective tissue by stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, the building blocks of horn and hair.
