Horses' joints have to cope with extreme forces, and it's often the cartilage that shows the first signs of wear. Dilution of the synovial fluid (joint fluid) and disruption of the protective cartilage layer begin the deterioration process. Directions for use Add to daily ration as a course of treatment. Introductory dose for a horse: 25 g, i.e. approx. 6 scoops per day over a period of 3 to 10 days Maintenance dose for a horse: 13 g, i.e. approx. 3 scoops per day (800 g jar = 61 days / 1.6 kg jar = 123 days) Maintenance dose for a pony: 8 g, i.e. 2 scoops per day.
