BERIS 3-ring Konnex Bits Beris Konnex 3-ring bit. The Beris Konnex bit combines the advantages of a tongue bit and a butterfly bit. The profile of the Konnex bit is thinner and is suitable for horses with a small mouth or thick tongue. The tongue passage is widened which increases the contact surface of the bit with the horse's tongue and therefore has a softer action for horses with sensitive tongues. Konnex bits are particularly suitable for horses with a small mouth space: thoroughbreds and older horses (due to the change in tooth positioning).
