The spray protects the body, the fly mask Eskadron protects the head, and the treats reward the horse. The Complete Summer Pack combines these three essential products for the warm season. It provides complete anti-insect protection for a serene horse from May to September.
Every horse owner knows this scenario. You dutifully spray your horse's body with fly spray. You think he's protected. But ten minutes later in the meadow, the flies are concentrated exactly where the spray didn't reach: the eyes, ears, nostrils, the whole contour of the head. Your horse shakes his head constantly, rubs against the fences, gets upset, and returns in the evening with irritated eyes and swollen ears.
Spray alone is not enough. Neither is a mask alone, since insects attack the body as soon as the horse breaks a sweat. It's the combination of the two that offers complete protection. The Complete Summer Pack has been designed to solve this problem in a single purchase, with three products that cover all your horse's summer needs.
Harmony Therapy's O-Fly Plus (1000 ml) is an anti-fly spray formulated with three natural essential oils: citronella, geranium and citron. Unlike conventional permethrin-based chemical sprays, O-Fly Plus respects your horse's skin while offering effective protection against flies, horseflies and flying insects.
The key innovation is citron essential oil, which goes beyond the simple natural repellent effect. It relieves itching from existing bites, stimulates microcirculation to combat hair loss linked to repeated scratching, and has a disinfectant and healing effect on small skin lesions caused by parasites.
The spray is applied to the whole body: coat, mane, tail, neck, withers, back, rump, flanks and belly. It leaves no stains on light coats. The 1000 ml bottle lasts for several weeks of daily use.
This is the centerpiece of the pack and probably the most advanced fly mask on the market. The DynAir Mesh Pro Detach is the most advanced version ofEskadron's Classic Sports range. It boasts three features not found in conventional goggles.
DynAir Mesh 4-way stretch material: This is not just a rigid mesh placed over the head. It's a four-way stretch technical fabric that's extremely breathable and permeable to air. It follows the contours of the horse's head without exerting pressure, allowing the ears to move freely. Your horse can move, shake or scratch: the mask follows every movement naturally, without moving or rubbing.
Eye protection net: The eye area is protected by a dark net with particularly tight mesh. The dark mesh attenuates light, which is an advantage for horses with sensitive eyes or on sunny days. The tight meshes block out even the smallest insects, while maintaining perfect visibility for the horse. It's the best compromise between protection of sensitive areas and visual comfort.
Detachable nosepiece: "Detach" means that the nosepiece can be detached. This allows you to adapt the mask to the prevailing conditions: in very hot weather, you remove the nose piece to maximize ventilation. When the flies are particularly aggressive (humid days, late afternoon rush hours), you put the nose protection back on for maximum coverage. It's a modularity that fixed masks don't offer.
All inner seams are fully padded with extra-soft material, eliminating the risk of chafing even after hours of wear. The mask is equipped with a toupee opening and a Velcro fastener for a fast, secure fit. Available in Lake Blue.
The spray protects the body, while the Eskadron mask protects the head: together, there's no area left uncovered. Flies can't attack either the coat (repelled by the spray) or the head (blocked by the mask). It's the first time your horse is fully protected at 360 degrees.
The third element of the pack is the simplest and most ingenious. Cavalor Fruities (750 gr) are bite-sized treats with an intense wild berry flavor, formulated with cereals, carob and fruit mix in a resealable bag. Their role in this pack is not nutritional, but behavioral.
The spray + mask ritual is often a tense moment, especially with young or sensitive horses. By systematically offering a few Fruities after the mask is applied, you can transform this moment into a positive experience. Within a few days, the horse learns that spray + mask = reward, and allows itself to be handled with much less resistance. It's the complete behavioral approach to summer well-being.
In the morning, before going out to pasture: spray O-Fly Plus all over the body (1 to 2 minutes), place the Eskadron DynAir Mesh Pro Detach mask on the head (with or without the nose part, depending on conditions), and give 3 to 4 Fruities. Your horse goes out to pasture fully protected. In the evening, when you return from the pasture: remove the mask, inspect the eyes and ears, and if necessary reapply a light layer of spray on perspiration areas. A few Fruities to finish off.
