Clay at night, gel during the day: the recovery duo for stressed limbs. A complete protocol to promote your horse's recovery after every intense effort.
Your horse 's limbs take a beating. Every canter stride, every jump landing, every work session puts a strain on tendons, ligaments and joints. Over time, without proper recovery, fatigue accumulates: engorgement, heat, morning stiffness, reduced locomotion. The Nutragile Members Recovery Pack is designed to integrate recovery into your horse's daily routine, with two simple gestures that alternate naturally.
After work, apply a generous layer of clay paste to the limbs, from knee to fetlock (or from hock to fetlock for hindquarters). Wrap with newspaper or cling film, then place resting strips on top. Theclay works all night long: it absorbs heat, drains toxins accumulated during exertion and reduces the often imperceptible micro-inflammations. In the morning, remove the strips and rinse with clean water. You'll notice clean, cold, deflated limbs. The Effort Intense formulation is specifically enriched for horses subjected to regular or intense effort: daily work, competition season, resumption after a rest period.
Before or after light work, apply the gel directly to the limbs and massage for three to five minutes, working upwards from the bottom. The massage gel penetrates quickly without leaving a greasy residue, so you can use it even just before putting on gaiters or protective gear. Its fluid texture is designed for active massage: it facilitates the rider's movements while providing an immediate relaxing, draining and refreshing effect. The horse feels relief as soon as it is applied, making it a popular product for horses that tend to trample or refuse to stand still when groomed.
The complementary nature of the two products makes this pack particularly effective. The clay works deep down during the night, over a long period of time, in a passive manner. The gel works on the surface during the day, over a short period, actively. One absorbs and drains, the other stimulates and relieves. Riders who use this duo alternately, clay two or three nights a week and daily gel after each session, generally see a visible improvement in two to three weeks: less engorgement on waking, drier limbs after work, a horse that moves more freely at the start of the session.
This protocol is suitable for all horses, whatever their age, discipline or level of effort. It is particularly recommended for show horses at the height of the season, older horses beginning to show signs of joint stiffness, horses returning to work after a period of rest, and stall horses whose limbs tend to swell during the night.
Both products are formulated from natural ingredients, made in France, and compatible with all fittings and floor types.
