The Classic mesh fly blanket is a summer must-have with excellent value for money. The mesh used for this classic version is very light and allows the horse to be protected against flies without adding unnecessary heat on the hottest days. The light color reflects the sun and keeps your horse cool. Your horse is fully protected on the body, beginning of tail and neck with the neck cover included.

Fabrics and materials

The Classic Mesh Fly Blanket is made from a structured mesh fabric, which keeps most flies and insects away from the horse. The mesh is extremely lightweight and breathable, making it perfect for use in the meadow on the hottest days. The inside of the fabric is flat on the chest. It's soft to avoid rubbing marks and to ensure that no hair sticks to the blanket.

The blanket's light color reflects the sun's rays and doesn't absorb heat.

The mane, chest and tail are lined with smooth polyester to prevent chafing.

Shape & Size

The Mesh Fly Rug Classic is available in different sizes to ensure it fits all horses. The blanket's rather classic shape makes it suitable for all body types.

This fly rug features a long tail flap and a removable tail cord. Thanks to the tail cord, the blanket stays close to the body and offers better protection. The detachable neck cover is reinforced with a thicker strip of fabric, so it won't slip down the neck. As this reinforcement is on both sides of the neck, it doesn't exert direct pressure on the mane.

Because details matter, the front fastenings and belly surcingles are silvered to match the blanket perfectly.

Care instructions

Machine washable

Most of our products are machine-washable at 30 degrees. However, we recommend washing as infrequently as possible and using our protective wash bags to maintain long-term quality. We also recommend the use of professional washing machines (larger capacity) to limit damage caused by the washing machine drum. To dry the product, simply place it in the open air on a sunny day. Dryers are not recommended.
