The EQUITHÈME Airy MIPS glossy helmet, with its wide visor and high gloss finish, is also distinguished by its high level of safety.

Featuring MIPS* technology, it reduces the risk of traumatic brain injury in the event of oblique or rotating impacts, by integrating an additional layer inside the helmet, located between the outer shell and the inner lining.

The MIPS system absorbs energy by sliding the skull over the shell, mimicking the effect of the cerebrospinal fluid that naturally protects our brains.

As a result, rotational forces are better dispersed, the impact of the brain against the skull is reduced, and so the risk of brain damage is diminished.

Airy helmet features:

an outer shell in ABS, highly resistant to impact, even at extreme temperatures.

an inner shell made of lightweight, high-density EPS (expanded polystyrene) for excellent shock-absorbing properties.

hundreds of inlaid semi-circles on the skullcap surface, which not only improve shock absorption but, combined with front, rear and central ventilation zones, also ensure excellent air circulation.

a removable, washable inner padding that combines moisture-absorbing textile and memory foam for added comfort.

a precise adjustment system thanks to a rear adjustment wheel mounted on a 5-position hoop for a custom fit.

a microfiber fastening harness with quick-release clip, 4-point rear fastening to hug the nape of the neck, and chin protection on the chinstrap to limit chafing.

Care instructions

Store your helmet in a clean, dry place at room temperature.

Prolonged exposure to sunlight or frost can damage your helmet and impair its effectiveness.

Hand-wash the helmet's inner foam.

Regularly clean the outer shell by hand using a damp sponge with little soap.
