CHRYSANTELLUM AMERICANUM - Chrysantellum americanum. Asteraceae family Chrysantellum is a 20cm-high herbaceous plant native to Bolivia and Peru. Chrysantellum also grows wild in Africa and has pretty yellow flowers when in bloom.
Ingredients : Flavonoids, saponosides, alkaloids, tannins, triterpenes, sterols. Chrysantellum, a plant recommended in cases of tendon congestion in horses: Chrysantellum is a tropical plant with powerful multi-purpose properties. Its high flavonoid content improves venous microcirculation. It is therefore particularly recommended for horses showing signs of engorgement or lymphangitis.
Chrysantellum is also a powerful hepatoprotector, useful in cases of intoxication. What to use Chrysantellum with? To reinforce the decongestant effect of Chrysantellum, the plant can be combined with an external supplement such as Astrinjambe, a ready-to-use green surfine clay enriched with essential oils renowned for their decongestant properties (thyme and rosemary have lymphotonic and decongestant properties for the venous system, and help to keep tendons clear by limiting the risk of engorgement).
