The Metalab Elite Straight Needle Bit has the particularity of using special uprights that pass through two rings perpendicular to the rings of the bit.
This feature allows it to be used with two or four reins or with rings.
The snaffle reins will have a traditional lifting effect, and the reins attached to the special posts will often have a lowering effect.

The needle bit allows a better channelling of the horse. The needles on either side of the mouth allow for better control of lateral flexion in a young horse and make this bit very directive.
The Elite bit collection incorporates the best ergonomic mouthpieces without compromising on quality. The Elite bits are split in the middle by Metalab's "Pinchless" system which allows each part of the bit to rotate independently of the other while eliminating the risk of tongue pinching.
The Elite bits have been designed to minimise pinching and pressure while optimising comfort and communication.
